Precious Plastic do you know ?
Recycle plastic waste into usable new objects (key ring, phone case, wax comb and all you can imagine).
This initiative from Dave Hakkens from NL is starting to get well known. The mission is the following: allow to upcycle plastic waste to give a second life to this material by producing new objects. All this is done with machines that you can build yourself with open source drawings and tutorials.
At Nomads we went into it and we have today our own machines. We organize workshops to educate and talk about plastic recycling and how to consider waste as a value. We come to your workplace, your school or wherever you want.

Our team comes to your event with our recycling machines in order to educate and talk about waste management and upcycling.
Important values
Thanks to those equipment, we can create objects from scratch with waste. We can show the public live how we can turn unevaluable waste into valuable objects. The message is powerful.
Plastic waste
We sort waste that we collect before the workshop and we shred it. After shredding, the plastic is heated up to 300°C and inject into a mold to give life to a new object.
Educate around ocean pollution
Following the workshop, we propose to discuss around some important subjects around pollution and sustainability. This workshop is meant to be a participative and a sharing moment between us and your team.
