A shortboard designed for versatility. In light summer conditions or more rugged winter conditions, this board will make the most of both. A generous outline to provide a comfortable volume will also make it an accessible shortboard for the occasional rider who has already mastered small boards.

So-called classic construction but using more durable materials than the majority of similar constructions : |
- 100% recycled and recyclable polystyrene (EPS) foam block
- 40% bio-sourced epoxy resin
- Fiberglass
The advantages:
A proven construction for technical and lightweight boards with a strength advantage 3 times greater than boards made of Polyester resin and Polyurethane foam core.
Elongation at break of epoxy resins 5 to 6% compared to only 2% for polyester resins. For this linen construction, we substitute a layer of fiberglass with flax fiber grown in Europe. The resin is then applied under vacuum, thus reducing the quantity used.
- 100% recycled and recyclable polystyrene (EPS) foam block
- 40% bio-sourced epoxy resin
- Flax fiber and fiberglass
The advantages:
Flax fiber is lighter than fiberglass and absorbs vibrations better.
Its environmental impact is lower compared to fiberglass. Revolutionary composite sandwich technology using a mixture of cork granules and short flax fibers.
A gliding sensation comparable to polyester resin boards without the drawbacks.
This mixture provides very high chop absorption properties and significantly superior strength with an elongation at break of 14% compared to 2% for polyester resin boards.
- 100% recycled and recyclable polystyrene (EPS) foam block
- 40% bio-sourced epoxy resin
- Cork & linen composite
The advantages:
A very strong and much more durable board with 14% elongation at break compared to 2% for polyester boards, as well as much higher shock absorption than a conventionally constructed EPS/epoxy board.
This technology allows Epoxy type repairs to be carried out without any problems. We encourage our customers to make their surfboards last as long as possible and to rethink their consumption habits. If your board is damaged, you can purchase a repair kit or take it to our partner shapers.
Because we have to anticipate the end of life of our products, at Nomads we offer to collect all your boards at the end of their life in order to recycle them for EPS foam boards or to recover them for PU boards by exchanging a €70 voucher for our range of boards. We want to help surfers reduce their environmental footprint. Our stock boards are made in Portugal and our custom boards in France. We strive to offer the best alternative on the market.
This foam block is 100% recyclable and we are committed to taking back your board at the end of its life in exchange for a voucher.
The ECOBOARD Sustainable Surf Project helps the surfing community build, buy, and ride high-performance, sustainable boards. Much more than just the ECOBOARD label found on boards from the world's best surf brands, the ECOBOARD Project educates and engages surfers about the environmental impacts of their lifestyles through the lens of their surfboard.
An ECOBOARD label is a mark of sustainability and high performance. ECOBOARDS-certified boards have the same technical performance as any modern watersports board, while having reduced environmental and toxic impacts – thanks to the use of more sustainable materials and manufacturing processes.
When you see a board displaying the ECOBOARD Level One or Gold Level label, it means it has one or more of the following attributes:
a significantly reduced carbon footprint
renewable, recycled and/or recovered raw materials
uses materials and processes that reduce toxicity during manufacturing
reduces waste during manufacturing
